entertainment for your event

Ok So Tulsa provides a very special type of entertainment for your organization’s event. We have been involved in monthly storytelling events since 2013. We have a large bank of stories and tellers to source from for special events. Our storytellers are all local and all the stories are true as told from the teller. We can provide stories based on broad themes of your choosing. We can also provide a general range of stories that range from Rated G to Rated R, ranging from funny to meaningful. We can also provide spoken word artists performing a piece of performance poetry. These can also fit your desired themes. Need an event venue? We can assist with that, too!

Pricing is based on a tiered program based on what you need for your event, and what will be required on our end to source quality tellers and their stories. Each storyteller or spoken word artist is paid for their work. Contact us for a quote on your event! (Oh, and if you need a venue? We can help with that, too!)

TIER ONE:

This tier provides 4-6 five-minute stories that fit your themes. Stories/tellers are sourced from those we have already workshopped and are already stage ready. This provides 20-30 minutes of stage time.

TIER TWO:

This tier provides 4-6 five-to-seven-minute stories that fit your themes. Tellers are sourced to craft a true story that fits your themes. We workshop these stories to make sure they are stage and theme ready. This provides 30-40 minutes of stage time.

TIER THREE:

We curate a whole evening of storytelling and/or spoken word for your event based on themes of your choosing. The set will include a minimum of 8 stories/spoken word pieces. This provides 45-70 minutes of stage time.

We ask that you give “Ok So Tulsa” credit for providing the entertainment if your event is being promoted on any sort of media/social media We are a non-profit and we are working on a community storytelling project with local youth. Your promotion helps us fund this and other projects as well as to stay in the public eye and secure future projects for Ok So Tulsa.

We would also like the opportunity to briefly give the audience information about what Ok So Tulsa does and how anyone can be involved in true live storytelling.
